Our Kitchen

Grace's Kitchen is a home-based business and is registered with South Cambridgeshire County Council. We create all of our bakes in a clean, safe and well maintained area.
​
Grace's Kitchen is fully insured and holds a 5-star food hygiene rating with the Food Standards Agency, a copy of which can be found here.
I also hold a Level 2 Certificate in Food Hygiene & Safe, so you can be reassured when ordering from us that everything is made in a clean, safe environment, where all hygiene measures have been put in place.

Our Ingredients
​
All of our bakes are made to order, using fresh ingredients and where possible, organic and local ingredients. We price our bakes to reflect the ingredients we use.
We offer both gluten & dairy-free bakes, alongside some vegan bakes. Our gluten and dairy-free ingredients are stored separately from our regular ingredients, and we also have gluten & dairy-free specific equipment that is not used with our regular bakes, as to best avoid any cross-contamination. That being said, we are not able to guarantee the definite absence of any allergens in our bakes, and so would not recommend ordering if your allergy is severe.

Our Packaging
​
When you order a custom celebration cake or cupcakes, they will be placed in a suitable cake or cupcake box. Dependent on the height of your cake, we may use food-safe acetate to ensure that your cake is fully covered for transporting.

If you choose to collect your cake or cupcakes from us, we will provide you with a cake care leaflet that explains how best to transport your order. Please make sure you try to follow this as closely as possible, as we would not want your cake to be spoilt in any way through transportation or handling. Once an order has left the premises, we accept no liability for damage to your cake, it is up to you to follow the instructions given to you at the time of collection.

We strive to use recyclable, and environmentally friendly materials for our packaging where available.
